Emergency Network Los Angeles Hosts Wildfire Resource Fair at Post 283
Pacific Palisades, CA – In response to the devastation caused by the Jan. 7 Palisades Fire, Emergency Network Los Angeles (ENLA) is hosting a Wildfire Resource Fair at American Legion Post 283 from Tuesday, March 18, through Saturday, March 22. The event aims to provide residents with much-needed recovery resources by bringing together multiple disaster relief organizations under one roof.

Among the agencies participating are the American Red Cross, Salvation Army, Small Business Administration (SBA), and World Central Kitchen. The event, structured as a Multi-Agency Resource Center (MARC), will serve as a one-stop hub for affected residents to access assistance.
Post 283: A Hub for Relief Efforts
Shortly after the fire, American Legion Post 283 quickly mobilized to assist the community. The post partnered with the Department of Water and Power to help restore electricity and took steps to flush its tap water system, ensuring safe drinking water for local residents. Now, by hosting the resource fair, Post 283 continues to serve as a vital center for disaster response and recovery efforts.
Assistance and Services Provided
Residents impacted by the wildfires can access resources such as:
Financial assistance and emergency grants
Disaster recovery guidance and case management
Food and meal support through World Central Kitchen
Aid for small businesses through the SBA
Mental health and emotional support services
To receive assistance, attendees must bring proof of identity and proof of residency at their impacted address. Accepted documents include:

Address verification: Utility bill, mortgage statement, rental agreement, government correspondence, or tax return
