SONS COMMANDER’S WELCOME

Welcome! I take immense pride in introducing you to the Ronald Reagan-Palisades Sons of American Legion (“SAL”) Squadron; and welcome you to join the camaraderie we share. Since formation by the Pacific Palisades American Legion Post in 2004, the SAL Squadron has been an active participant in the local community and a driving force in enhancing the lives of veterans and their families.

We are fortunate to be affiliated with the Pacific Palisades American Legion Post; and together our members are doing remarkable things. We are assisting active military personnel, reintegrating returning veterans, assisting veteran elderly, serving the needy, and spreading the ideals for which our military fought; all while honoring those who did not come home. I hope you will join us in these noble endeavors.

The American Legion family is a growing force in Southern California. My vision as Squadron Commander is to build an even stronger Squadron membership base by:

Telling our story to the “community at large” via social media, traditional media, event recognitions, etc.

Expanding our “local community reach” by expanded involvement in community organizations and events.

Continuing to host member activities that enrich the lives of our military, our veterans, and their families.

Continuing to promote veteran service awareness utilizing events such as our “Living History” program that documents the military service of our veteran heroes.

The Post facility (which was rejuvenated in 2023) is a wonderful place to come together, bring our families, and enjoy special connections we have in common. We hope that you will join us as we continue to serve our veterans, our community, and this great nation.
